2North is basically a group of my best friends from my college days (University of Missouri-Rolla). Most of us have kept in pretty close contact over the years. We're all geeky engineers, so the Internet has allowed us to stay in contact easily. 2North is the floor we lived on in the dorms of UMR. For reasons unbeknownst to us, we became closer than most floor-mates usually become. The yearly Float Trips on the lazy rivers (or creeks) of the Ozarks have helped us to stay in touch and also help revive old memories.
