STS-125 Shuttle Launch (from VAB roof)

I worked at the NASA press site today in support of STS-125, the final Hubble servicing mission. The press site was really busy for this mission. Usually I escort media personnel to various locations for various reasons. To my surprise, today I was asked to escort some of the press photographers to the roof of the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) to photograph the launch. Wow! What an opportunity! It was a great launch and it went right on time. Here are some photos that I took from the top of the VAB. Click on each thumbnail for a larger version.

AIDA photo slideshow on Florida Today website

Florida Today put together a nice little narrated photo slideshow showing some scenes from AIDA with the company singing the music that is playing in the background. Check out the video below. Just click on the play button to watch it.

[Link has been removed from Florida Today’s website. Sorry.]

Call 321-636-5050 for tickets or for more information, or go to the Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse website.

P.S. I’m in the show … I’m playing the bad guy’s (Zoser’s) evil sidekick.  It’s an unnamed part without any actual lines, but it’s still a very fun part.  I’m also playing a slave in a couple of the slave camp scenes.

AIDA teaser on front page of paper today

This morning the Florida Today newspaper printed a nice little AIDA teaser on the front page. They actually used the word “blockbuster”! I can’t wait to see the story tomorrow morning in the TGIF section of the paper. It should be good.

AIDA opens tomorrow night, Friday April 3rd. There are still some tickets left for opening night and right now AIDA is playing through April 19th, although that could get extended if the rest of the performances sell out. For tickets or for more information, check out the Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse website.
